"For what purpose do we practice Nichiren Buddhism? It is to win in life. Victory is happiness; it brings joy. Defeat, on the other hand, is misery. No excuse can take away the wretchedness of defeat. That is why it is important to win in life and never be defeated. That is the purpose of faith." - Daisaku Ikeda. (Guidance Today, May 10)

we discussed this in our group meeting last night,

Do you want to win or do you want to be happy? it make so much sense that we are always trying to win in everything but if we could start believing in the potential of the person in front of us and being happy ourselves, then life will be so much better.

I Learned This Phrase From Watching M*A*S*H.  It is fitting to the Buddhist Practice. "Don't Let The Bastard Win.....Period".

Always remember that victory or defeat in battle to accomplish kosen-rufu depends upon a tremendous, diamond-like sense of indestructible determination engraved deep within the heart of each and every one of us. After all, Buddhism is "win" or "lose". volume3 daily guidance

I love our Rock the Era song "RISE"...My favorite words are "Like Sensei we Pray"...Those simple four words will ALWAYS Rock my World to change my own negativity...cause I know it is ALL ME!  :)  Thank you, for your heartfelt comments, Chere!  ♥♥♥  WELCOME Chiew...and YES...Han...we are SOO fortunate for Sensei's guidances!  He has LIVED through all his persecutions with VICTORY...and encourages us that we can do the same in our own lives! ♥♥♥

When I am down or depressed or facing  big  problems, It seems Sensei's guidance or a article from the World Tribune that encourages me and raises me out of my funk and helps me renew my faith...Giving me courage and confidenct to trust NMRK!
