I am new to SGI. I started chanting a few years ago, but I stopped and now I am interested in getting started again.

Thank you all for making me feel welcomed.  I have really been strugling to chant and it can be very, very frustrating.  But I know with you alls support I will make it and I am keeping the faith and beleiving in the Gohonzon.  Thanks so much. :-)

A big welcome to you.

I would like to encourage you to start chanting again. As someone who does not have a lot of spare time, I beleive that it is not how much time you spend doing daimoku, but the quality of your daimoku. By making a sincere connection with your Gohonzon, you will definitely find the answers to your questions.

How are you doing, Latrice? Saw your comment on the Beginners group. Chanting is difficult sometimes. Sensei says that depending on our circustances the amount of our daimoku changes but the important thing is to continue in faith and never give up our faith in our Buddhahood and the power to manifest it through faith practice and study. I know you will win in your life the Daishonin assures us of that.
