Interestingly I was listening/watching Deepak Chopra's presentation on PBS about "What are YOU Hungry for?".. Of course he always integrates "Other Wisdom philosophies" and their take on weight control. Mainly putting the Mind, Body and Spirit together.. The buddhist perspective along with the medical aspects made so much sense. When I finished watching him this morning, I went to do Gongyo and the I asked the question, "What am I hungry for?".. And I realized it was my good health, love and true happiness. Dr. Chopra also spoke that the reason of the true self was to find the answers "why am I here and What is my purpose". His answer was generic, but I understood it.,"To LIve each day without reacting to the events of the environment and to do what we can to enhance the environment of others". I am going to try to remember that as often as I can..
