I am involved in spiritual growth an development, self-employed and love to read, write and moderate several on-line groups. I have embraced Nichiren Buddhism and find it the perfect fit for my path. I have been practicing since June 2008. I find this buddhism of great benefit
Good Day Samuel; No, I am not back home in Bermuda. I am in Florida taking care of some business. I will only be returning to Bermuda to assist my husband with the rennovation for a couple of months, put the house on rent and return to school to complete my doctorate degree by my 65th birthday, and take time out and write my best seller this lifetime! Thanks for loving my music. It is nice knowing that you are all well over there. Lagos is as busy as ever. Our AGM is coming up this month, and activities are in top gear. My regards to everyone. Enjoy your day!
So nice to hear from you once more. I have been out of town for a while and just returned. Happy to know that you all are doing well. Why not tell me more about your struggle with lethargic inclination. I am sure I will learn from your experience.
My Myoho brother, how are you doing? I hope you and your entire household are in good health. When I started chanting, the chapter Chief Dr. Afolabi used to sang it into our ears to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That has always been at the back of my mind whenever I am doing anything. I consider my health first and foremost. I hope you are also maintaining a healthy life style. Our chanting daimoku does not protect us from harm whenever we deliberately endanger our lives through wayward living. Lets beware and protect the very essence of our living. Cheers!
How are you Sam? Nice to hear that activity is booming over there in San Francisco. We are also having filled time doing activities here in Lag. Yesterday, some of our members departed to Ghana to join in the celebration of their AGM which is coming up tomorrow, Saturday. Activities are in full swing here as we prepare for our up coming AGM in October. Top on our chart this month, is shakubuku campaign, which is the biggest challenge we are facing. from what I read in your comment, you people must be growing in numbers. Congratulation! Your comment is quite inspiring and I am happy to hear that more zones are being created for the expansion of Buddhist activities. My wish is to see us grow more in numbers and enrich our lives with benefits as we engage the people in a battle of peace through our daimoku and Kosenrufu activities. I am praying for good fortune to enable me travel round the world to do kosenrufu activities. Stay well Sam, and let's meet again. Bye!
Yes, Sam, I was at the Kosenrufu, and it was quite successful. We had a lecture on "Dragon Gate," A letter written to Nanjo Tokimistu. In this letter, the Daishonin Proclaimed " My wish is that all my disciples makes great vows." I came to understand this passage to mean that, ' when we make great vows in life, and put in great effort to fulfill those vows, it is only natural that our lives begin to respond positively to changes around us. The philosophy of Nichiren is the most profound of all religions. And my greatest wish, is that we all should continue to make great vows for the sake of Kosenrufu. What do you think?
