Hey SGI family. Well it is the day before my first day on rotation for school. Nervous as can be. But I am chanting for a positive out come.

Hi SGI family. Its been a while since I have been on here and let me say I can tell a difference in me. My whole rhythm of things is off. I became so distracted with things around that I lost touch with why I am trying to better myself and study the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin. Now that I am back on here I feel that I starting to get back on the right road. Hopefully I will stay on this road and not run off it again. I will start my chanting again tonight. PLEASE chant for me to stay focus… Continue

On May 29th we celebrated our first Young Phoenixes' area meeting ever!
well-prepared by Cas and Amit, we ran a few months on daimoku and asking around. They did lots of homevisits which I due to my double job was not able to do...
in the end we had a wonderful presentation, study, improv games, an experience, a performance by Mandy and Shelly and a song that I had the honor to contribute: Dare, Dream, Do Daimoku!… Continue

Today was an awesome day for me. Everything went very well today, better than I could have hoped for! I had to go get the safety and emission inspection done on my Jeep. I left the house at 1:00 PM. Got the inspection done, passed with flying colors and then headed South to the DMV office. I arrived there, got my tags and then got home in only one-hour and twenty-minutes! I have spent more time then that before in the DMV office alone... Then I took an hour nap. I got up, got ready and went to… Continue

Day 40, $2,947.45 in red, $1,245.00 in bills to come, 47 applications and 3 failed interviews. The numbers don’t look good and Anna decided that a new approach is needed. Watching Trinny and Susanna the other day, what else do you do at home in day time, she heard them saying to the woman they were about to ‘transform’ “You have… Continue

I just took a drastic leap of faith and had a director come out from Los Angeles to Japan to film my first music video and I didn't really have the money to do it, but I just went with the "somehow the money will come from somewhere."
And the day before he took off from Los Angeles a car crashed into my motorcycle, which now means I have to fix my motorcycle (until my insurance reimburses me) but I don't even have the money to fix my bike now after making the video (which is still… Continue

This is a script I wrote for the YD to perform at a district meeting. Since the narrator tells the story there is little dialogue. The fun is in the blocking. Have fun! Runs about 10 minutes.

“Err!!” Anna was frustrated this morning. She just could not focus. Something was dragging her down, trying very hard and stubbornly to get her attention. She knew better not to, because already without any conscious acknowledgement she knew what it was. It’s Panic. Yes. It’s that scaring feeling that Anna had been trying to keep a good distance from since her… Continue

Continue
