One of my wonderful leaders called me at work today and asked if she could pick me up afterward for the Tozo at her house. I was delighted. She met me at the front of the store and we went around back to get my bike, talking delightfully the whole way. She is such a warm and inspiring Bodhisattva. We chanted for about 2 and a half hours, with a brief break when another leader stopped by on her way to another area. I feel so fantastic. I chanted about so many things, in great detail. I feel really inspired and determined to continue developing my practice, clear away delusions from my life and the lives of others, develop courage and compassion, and always be victorious.
I learned more about Soka Spirit today, and I am excited to study more about this subject. I strongly encourage everyone to participate in the Tozos that are happening, especially if you have never been to one! Chanting for such a long time may seem very difficult, but really it is an opportunity to give attention to your life that it really deserves! I want to extend the amount of time I chant to the Gohonzon on a daily basis.
I am so grateful to have this practice in my life, and I have many people to thank for making it possible for me. How wonderful life is!
