I found a job in April and am enjoying being a productive member of the work force again. I am still searching for another part time job to get ahead a little. Things will happen as they will as long as I chant. I am working on my million diamoku.
Hi Susan, hope you are well.im challenging my work karma too.
"Just pray no matter what.Pray earnestly for one thing at a time. Even if you don't get the best job immediately , you will gradually be able to find a better job.you will receive total protection from the Gohonzon without a doubt.Keep praying with absolute conviction and do shakubuku.
Yamaguchi campaign-part two.
You are great-im sending Daimoku to you.
WOuld love to see the pics.....i have so many good memories of that conference. I dont know what kind of job you are looking for but i know its tough out there....hang in there and keep chanting...love Boomer
Thanks for the suggestion to give people the option to arrive Friday night for the summer SGI conference. The conference center said they'll have space for 60 or so of our members to take that option, so people will be able to do that for an added fee of between $50 or so. We are thinking of having a planning meeting in October in Lansing for the June 27-28 2009 conference. When the date and time of the planning meeting are set I'll let you know and, if you're able to make it, great.

I tried to save and post the photos that Richard Adkins emailed me but was not successful. If you email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I'll be happy to forward the photos to you.
BTW, in Michigan Area (which includes the eastern UP and the LP except for metro Detroit) has three chapters, which are Grand River (central lower MI), Northern MI, and West MI. West MI has four districts: Wyoming, E. Gr. Rapids, One Heart (northern GR), and Kalamazoo/Battle Creek). Hope this helps.
Susan, I am sure that you will make many friends in the year to come, I can guarantee it. I live the pictures or the parrot and Pretty Boy. Pretty Boy reminds me of the masculine version of my Pretty Lady, a cat I had a long time ago. She was my first cat, and the most friendliest cat I have ever had. She used to love the sound of daimoku, just like my dogs did, and they all sat around me or on my when I chanted.
Hi everyone! There is a new search engine out there that is very useful... every time you use it Microsoft donates a penny to the charity or non-profit of your choice and SGI Endowments out of California has a sight there. It is MSN search engine and I have already donated over $10.00 of Microsoft money and it doesn't cost me a penny! Microsoft has big pockets and this is a way for them to give back and for me to choose who they give it to... Just food for thought. The site is called Search and Give... easy to make it your default search engine even if you use it to go to another search engine! Enjoy! Smiles, Susan
