--TO MY FRIENDS--
Rather than comparing ourselves
  to others and feeling anxious,
  let's create an unwavering and
  indestructible self!
Buddhism teaches the principle of
"cherry, plum, peach and damson blossoms,"
which elucidates the unique diversity and
  beauty of all living entities.
Each one of us invariably has a
unique mission that is ours alone.

Tentative translation of "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shimbun, based on President Ikeda's recent guidance.

--わが友に贈る--
人と比べて焦るより
揺るがぬ自己を築こう!
仏法は「桜梅桃李」。
自分にしか果たせない
使命の道が必ずある!

--WAGA TOMO NI OKURU--
HITO TO KURABETE ASERU YORI
  YURUGANU JIKO O KIZUKO!
BUPPO WA "O-BAI-TO-RI".
JIBUN NI SHIKA HATASENAI
SHIMEI NO MICHI GA KANARAZU ARU!
