--TO MY FRIENDS--
Beware of catching the flu!
Carefully observe preventative measures
on a daily basis, such as wearing layers
to guard against the cold, gargling,
washing your hands and wearing surgical
  masks.(*)
Good health is the foundation of happiness.

(*)In Japan and some other densely populated Asian countries, it is social etiquette to wear a surgical mask when one has a cold or flu to prevent spreading the virus. It is also worn as protection against catching cold or the flu.

Tentative translation of "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shimbun, based on President Ikeda's recent guidance.
