Unbroken Line - Many Treasure Chorus

Check out our choir's new YouTube, its a classical style Buddhist composition with fugue, impressionist chords, baroque influences an adagio for voices :-)

I like the Power Song. It resonates with our practice. Clever lyrics and he has a real different sound from the other pieces. I enjoyed listening .

Today I must sing, anything, something.

A lullaby a nursery rhyme

Any old church hymn will be just fine.

If I don't I will surely die

Wondering why I let time go by

Without a song  to pass the time

Or praise this great life

I don't know why

But I must sing any ol thing

"Old Susanna oh don't you cry for me"

Just came home from Spokane Washington, the site of our Sweet Adelines four state competition. Our group of 25 women won first place. I am amazed at this group of women I have been so fortunate to join.

I want to share this with all of the musicians. It is part of President Ikeda's essay "Human Revolution and My Life.

"Having the spirit to challenge yourself further is the essence of faith. No matter how good or bad your present circumstances are, keep moving forward. The path of human revolution lies in continuously challenging your limitations and making tireless efforts."
