I just started reading Causton's "The Buddha in Daily Life" again. Since the first time I read it was at least 40 discussion/study meetings ago, I'm reading all the book's information in a new light.
It's as if it's a whole other book!

Timothy, I just ordered your book from Amazon. I'm sure I'm going to like it and will be ordering more in the future for my shakabukus.

i am giving away my book 'the reluctant buddhist', anyone wants it?

It's on all the book sellers pages, Amazon.com, Bordersbook.com, BarnesandNobels.com

But I have a special lower price for my friends if you go to this secret link: http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/myth-shattering/4798127

If you put "Great Book" in the coupon code, it will also give you an additional 10% off the already reduced price.

Actually I think that book printing is better than the Amazon.com version. Amazon.com would only do it in 6 by 9 inch format, so it looks kind of like a coloring book, but the Lulu version I had done in pocket size so it's easier to carry around.

Timothy where is your book available online? Sounds interesting.

I don't know if my semi-autobiographical novel, Myth Shattering would be considered a "Gakkai book," but as it covers my life story in my early days when I started practicing, I hope it shakubukus many people. Along with being a Buddhist discovery novel, it's also a culture criticism and political protest novel as well.

That's also what I did with the Reluctant Buddhist. I finished it a year ago and I am enjoying hearing a chapter read - every two weeks or so. I am able to re-absorb some details that I had forgotten about in the book, and some parts of the chapter readings sound so fresh that it makes me wonder if I had read the book at all!
