Hello Fellow Poets,

 

I have often used a highway as an anaology to explain our varying states of Buddhist practice and decided to put it into poetic form. As always, feedback appreicated.

Carp at Dragon Falls

No hooks nor lures
On that shimmering line
Which, fin over fin,
Out of crystal turbulence
They climb to soar
And glide into baskets
Woven of fig bark
And lotus root.
