I have been chanting 27 years in NE Ohio. I was introduced by David Lumpp. And David, I am forever grateful for you and Prorok for rescuing me from the "Minky Man" and allowing me to develope my potential for Kosen Rufu. Thank you.
I have been an RN for 37 years, having worked in all sorts environments and places- from volunteering at the Hartville Migrant Health Clinic when a nursing student and after school, to a drug clinic in Greenwich Village in the '70s to eventually where I am now as a pysch nurse in crisis intervention and stabilization. I love it. :)
I am a single mother of one very strong and amazing daughter, Rachael, and grandmother of four beautiful & wonderful "rugrats"- Shyane, C.J., Alani and Keyara.
On a more personal note, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and CFIDS (chronic fatigue) about 9 yrs ago. So, if any of you also have either of these, do please share your day by day life experiences living with FM/CF with me. Chanting nam myoho renge kyo is how I got my answers and why I am back in the workforce after a few years of not being able or wanting to EVER work again as a nurse.
All yes, I must not forget my 2 furry friends- my bedwarming/chihuahua/dachshund aka Chucky and my Humane Society orange lapcat named Alice Mae.
I love gardening and getting down in the dirt to start the process of watching winter turn into spring.
Good to see you have joined this site too. I will see you tomorrow hopefully. The weather is pretty bad outside so let's talk before we leave for Marie's to attend the women's study meeting.
