My Mentor and Me

....Follow the Law, not people....

These are my two “golden rules” for practicing Nichiren Buddhism within the SGI:

1. "Follow the Law, not people". You accepted faith because of the Law, don’t quit because of people. The people you meet in this practice are on the same path as you. Some started before you and some after. Some…

....Thank You Nichiren, Thank You....

In my blog post titled “The Aspiration for Enlightenment” I stated that “Every one of us, now or in the future, will have a prayer that needs to be answered. This was that day for me.

I don't know what to call this experience. Maybe the power of prayer would do. Maybe the benefits of faith, or something altogether different like, thank you Nichiren, thank you.

Faith, With Each Breath We Take....

Posted on February 21, 2009 at 8:00am 9 Comments

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo may disappoint you, but
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo will never let you down.

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo may disappoint you because you think you are a common mortal.

Take a deep breath. With that breath chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. If you are still alive
you have the means to become a Buddha.

No Doubt!

Breathe the Law of Life with every breath you take.

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo will never let you down....
