Red Cross Assignment

I was one of the six Red Cross volunteers from the Tallahassee Capital Area Chapter deployed to Texas in response to Hurricane Ike I was there for three weeks. The devastation was massive throughout the neighborhoods.

I will never forget the many hugs, kisses and thank you from the residents thanking us as volunteers for coming to their aid. Whatever doubts I had of doing another hardship assignment like this quickly vanished, I would gladly do it again. It is an honor to be a Red Cross… Continue

I received this information from a friend whose mother recently passedaway.





Apparently, this was caused by a medication that is deadly.
