About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):
I've been chanting for over 15 yrs and I've been a member for almost 10 years.

I am an aspiring filmmaker and I run a public access tv station in New Hamphire.

Over the years my biggest struggle has been consistancy and seeking the Gohonzon outside of myself.

Lately I've been trying to strengthen my faith and practice to show actual proof through my professional and personal victories.

The Million Daimoku Kobe Beef Burger

I haven't been on many sites, outside of Facebook lately, but I thought I'd post this little gem here.

In the run up to "Rock The Era" I was going through some major relationship issues and it was all about the explode.

I had the pleasure of being able to get guidance over lunch at the Riverworks from Bobby Ashe (North Zone Men's Division Leader) about all the stuff I going through at home and the heart of his guidance was, "don't make any changes or discisions…

Huge Diamoku Campeign!!!!

I've been practicing sparatically over the last 17 years or so, but never really got a consist morning and evening Gongyo schedule going.

But this year things have been a total change for me.

I moved from Mass to my newly beloved Granite State and couldn't be happier.

However in spite of the change of the location all the negative stuff came a along for the ride.

It all started when I moved into what I thought was to going to a nice quiet family… Continue

"The Last Detail"

I just stumbled across this classic Jack Nicholson film yesterday and what a great film.

It is apparently well known to some members as a classic film because Randy Quaid learns to chant in this film.

It was made in 1973 and they actually show an old school NSA discussion meeting which features some actors (Pre-SNL Gilda Radner is one) giving their "experiences."

The film also features an by the name of Luana Anders (who was a real Gakkai… Continue

How can I encourage other members to feel like they DON'T have to do activites??

Posted on August 6, 2009 at 2:58pm 2 Comments

Now please take this question to heart.

While we should want to do activities, it should never be a burden on a member.

I don;t members should be thinking: I should do this or my leader will get made or me, or I won't get benefit, etc. etc.

To tell story I have member who is really feeling overburdened with his life and seems to be really suffering.

I want to encourage him to go to more activities, but he really feels like trying to do a lot of… Continue

Very Happy and Sad New Year's Day

I had the pleasure of performing with my best friend at the N.E. Region's New Year's Gongyo in Woburn.

We had a few sound issues but it really went well!!!

We all received the good news about the new activity center opening soon in Woburn.

I'm can't wait to help move in!!!

After the meeting my friend and I went to Kowloon's - my new hangout thanks to attending a lot of function there as of late.

I went to visit with my Dad after the meeting… Continue

That would be great. I'm trying to get Cayce, a 23yo woman who attended the Women's mtg in February, to come. She met Teena (sp?) from Boston at it. It's the only mtg she's attended - thus far - so we'll see.

It's exciting to see the interest, involvement and seeking spirit of the youth in So. ME and surrounding area. Wow, 19 people at that meeting. That's great.
I have a discussion meeting at my place next Thursday. This midcoast region also has a lot of seeking spirits. I'm very new to this group leader stuff, so any daimoku sent my way would be most appreciated.

I'm glad that you are making connections with Abi and Troy. It's great to see them participate and take actions for their happiness. Haven't heard about how the Thursday night meeting at Troy's went, but I know that a lot of support was sent for it.
