  2. Focus on one thing at a time and pick the next logical task – Ask yourself, “What can I do right now that will bring me one step closer to my desired goal?”
  3. Educate…

Hi Caren,

I was so surprised to find I 'had been adopted' as friend I rushed down from my upsttairs studio where I  write my books and poems, to tell Cecilia all about your great contribution to SGI Buddhism and your lively spirit of friendship and healing among members. Naturally she thought I was having a fling (at my age?) so I filled her in with what I thought was the poetic beauty of your existence as a Bhodisattava of the earth - I seem to have got away with it!!

The fun bit of all this is, that as a follower of the Zen arts, living in our own wild acre - and being almost self suffiecient, after 10 years working in zoology in three universities in and out of West africa in the 60s, and 22 years of retirement, three years ago I found SGI on the internet whilst visiting Zen Temples worldwide on Sunday mornings. People always ask at meetings. 'And how did you come into SGI?' They are allways so surprised by 'The internet'

Keep sending out your smiling rays of happiness - it shows.

XXX from Izu - my non de plume!

*** I have book out called 'Zen and the Pen' - How to write your own book in 90 days - Living the writer's life. Zen and the art of writing -  just a few left - complimentary if you are interested.. My SGI friend in Hawaii has it by her side and is writing her own story.

And I have one in California - all great fun.

Its on Google under [robert christopher zen and the pen]
