About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):: I have practiced this Buddhism with the SGI since 1973. I am a school psychologist and have lived in NY, NM and then AZ prior to moving here to Florida. I am a District MD leader for Ocean District. I am happily married and base my existence on my faith in the Gohonzon. Although I enjoy on-line communities, I am finding I can spend FAR less time engaged in cyber-dialogues. Still, I hope I can get to know new Gakkai friends, and learn more about this wonderful practice and the precious members in the SGI.

It's really a coincidence that your step-daughter's name is Mika too! Is she a Japanese?

I'm a Singaporean, but my name was given by Sensei, hence its Japanese-ness.
