About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):
Been a member since 2001, interested in what lay members think of the SGI and how this Buddhism through chanting has enhanced their experiences in life, if it has helped or not, would appreciate honesty, but discretion. Am an artist but not full-time, not making money at it. Committed to the practice of art for inner peace, and expression, not for the money

Good Afternoon Jeanne; Georgetown, Georgia is on the border of Eufaula,
Alabama, 2.5 hours southwest of Atlanta, Georgia, off Highway 82. It is 1.5 hours northeast of Panama City, Florida- I agree with your statement that you have to keep working out your own karma, and not spend time trying to get others to validate you! Have a pleasant day! Betty

Good afternoon Jeanne;
I was truly great hearing from you today, and congratulations on your new journey. I can truly tell you, based on my personality and individualilties, to rely more on what you get out of your practice than dealing with the individual personalities of the members you meet in SGI; for we all are doing our human revolution as we are. I have had twenty years or more of issues with various individuals in SGI, and I decided after tortuning myself and blowing the fortune I know I can create to making the mystic law the center of my life, and connecting with the teaching of Nichiren Daishonin, I 've become a better person, and project less outwardly, and more inwardly. PS: I love your art! Betty Smith

Hi Jeanne:
I was really attracted to your art. I'm very new to the practice and reaching out to new people.
How did you get started? And what kept you going?
I was exposed to the practice years ago but it wasn't the right time for me.

Would love to hear from you.
