Sharing a poem about DAIMOKU by our mentor –:

Sharing a poem about DAIMOKU by my mentor – Daisaku Ikeda:

If you underestimate the power of Daimoku,

And use another strategy;

You will lose in the end.

You can accumulate good fortune only when

You fight for Kosen-Rufu without begrudging your life.

Unless your prayers are united,

The fight for Kosen-Rufu cannot gain momentum.

No matter what anybody says, or does,

Nothing can defeat the power of Daimoku.

But without action,… Continue

Don't Quit

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;

When the funds are low, and the debts are high;

And you want to smile but you have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit -

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;

The silver line of the clouds of doubt;

And you can never tell how close you… Continue

I am Woman

I am a Woman.

I am a woman who is here for herself first. I am not here for you.

If you would like to enjoy my world with me, ask and the door shall be opened graciously to you.

I will share all that I am and all that I have with you without reservation.

I am an ever-expanding being of light. I choose to live my life outside of the box and will not be "compartmentalized".

I will voice my opinion. It may sting your ego but, I will speak my… Continue

Good evening Kelli Lynn,

Just a brief note to say hello and that I hope all is going great with you. Life has been very busy for me, but I feel I'm making lots of progress in various aspects of my life. Thursday I will be heading to the Florida Folk Festival for the Memorial Day Weekend, and to celebrate my birthday. Anyway, I hope you're in great health, the highest of spirits, and strengthening your faith day by day.

Hi Kelli Lynn,

I've sent you a couple post the past few days but don't see them here so I'm wondering if you can email me directly. I had been hiking the Appalachian Trail for over 4 months and am sorry I couldn't repsond to your request for support and encouragement earlier. I would, however, love to encourage you however possible.

Wishing you health and happiness,

Hi again Kelli Lynn,

I haven't been back to DC in quite a while, but when I was introduce to this practice, the facility was at 4603 Eastern Ave. I have so many fond memories of going to Kosen-rufu gongyo meetings there and having noodles and picnics after the meetings. The Japanese women were terrific and always the most welcoming towards me.

Much love to you as well,

Hey there Kelli,

Thank you so much for your friend request, and I certainly am honored and accept it readily. How are you doing? I do hope really well, and above all, I hope you're healthy and happy. Life can be so wonderful with the right life condition, even if we are in the midst of major struggle.

I'm sorry I haven't written recently but life has been incredibly busy. There has been so much to do before I begin hiking the whole Appalachian Trail, starting this coming Saturday. I feel quite physically ready, but do wish I had another few days at the least for logistics and final packing. Oh well, it is what it is and I am just so grateful that I'm making it happen.

Take care, and I wish you tremendous benefit from the powers of your faith and practice.

Warmest wishes,

Hi Kelli,

First, congratulations on receiving your Gohonzon this past Februrary. This is truly a new beginning for you, and one of the greatest things is that it's all about self-motivation. The more good causes your make, the more benefit you will receive. Of course, support and encouragement are quite important, but it's neat that no one can hold us back, except for our own doubt, etc., which we will definitely overcome via this phenomenal practice.

My name is Eddie and I began over 36 years ago up in the DC area. Fred Grimnitz , a very strong member up there, picked me up hitchiking and months later I finally made it to my first meeting. It's a long story but it basically seved my life and gave me the tool to created tremendous value over these past years.

Of course, I still have goals and struggles, but I definitely know I can win over anything due to strong faith and practice in this Buddhism.

I'm glad you have the great fortune to have met this Gohonzon and Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and I truly hope your fortune is good enough for you to continue practicing throughout your lifetime and create unbelievable benefit.

Wishing you the very best,
