About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):
When I started practicing in 1985 in San Francisco, California, my seniors in faith taught me to develop a stand-alone spirit, seek to connect with our mentor Daisaku Ikeda, and to dream big.
Based on my faith, practice and study with the SGI, I am following my big dreams to contribute to kosen rufu through my music, movies, books and art.
I followed the sound of the panpipes to the Andes, seeking to find or create the ideal society of which they sing. In Peru and Bolivia I play panpipes with indigenous guys and spread the Andean cosmovision, as it is in harmony with Nichiren Daishonin, through my art. Most recently, my novel was published - Lucy Plays Panpipes for Peace. Right now I am working on the audio book and the movie, Panpipes for Peace.
We each have a mission to show great actual proof of doing our human revolution and living our dreams.
And you? What are your dreams? :)

Revered experimental fiction author Italo Calvino is new to me, although he has been writing and winning honors since long before I was born. "Mr. Palomar" is one of his landmark novels. What's it about?

In one chapter, the protagonist goes to the beach; not to watch the waves, but to completely isolate and analyze — dissect almost, with his intellect — a single wave. The task he has set… Continue

SF Commune and human revolution

When I received my gohonzon in 1985, I was living in a communal house. It provided great opportunities for human revolution and seeing actual proof. One of my first benefits was that all the negative housemates moved out, the positive ones stayed, and the new housemates brought even more joy and growing experiences. Here is a snapshot of this egalitarian community (which I find so much in harmony with the egalitarian teachings of Nichiren).

It would be great to collaborate! We already do in a sense-Daimoku-wise. :-) Won't be at FNCC.
Have visited FNCC when last in Fla (really nice) but live in Montreal, Canada. We have a similar beautiful place outside of Toronto in the Caledon hills. Have been able to go several times.
I'll check ur website soon. You can hear me at www.voiceworks.ca Use IE rather than firefox and click on the Shokwave version please. Must fix my site! Lovely to almost sorta meetcha. Mar
