Profile Information

About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):
I received my Gohonzon the day after my first meeting and started practicing in Brooklyn, New York in 1985. In 1985, I also became licensed as a Massage Therapist and Certified as a Colon Hydotherapist. 1985 was therefore, a grand year for the rest of my life. I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband. I am Trinidadian by birth and I am also an American Citizen. I am filling this form out at my parents home in Trinidad. I am presently pursuing my greatest desire which is to practice assiduously both in Trinidad and in New York. I wrote a determination to Sensei to show actual proof as a Practitioner of Natual Healing Therapies and as a Practitioner of Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism. My desires are unfolding. I believe, I am going to enjoy being part of this Online Buddhist Community.

That was my lesson today. I spoke passionately about Kangen Water, I spoke passionately about Colon Hydrotherapy. I spoke passionately about Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. People here the passion in your voice and they think maybe there is something there. After 24 years of practice, it seems like my fear of Public Speaking has diminished.

Delicious Daimoku

I enjoyed Daimoku so much this morning I have to tell the world. Actually, the way I feel right now, I can hardly put it into words. I did encourage my friend who is also my member Bernita after this daimoku session that daimoku is the greatest medicine in the world. We are so fortunate to have encountered and stuck in there to develop belief in this medicine. I must fight even harder to inttroduce more people to this wonderful practice of Nichiren Daishonin's True Buddhism.

Happiness is Contagious

"Recently, researchers of Harvard Medical School and the Unniversity of California, San Diego published findings indicating that happiness is contagious....This research supports the idea that a zone of happiness can be spread through a social network. (The reason for this Blog).....

The German poet Heinrich Heine wrote, "The hearts of [great] individuals are like earthly stars, and I believe that, if one looked down on our planet from above, these hearts would radiate in our eyes… Continue

Marcia, thanks for the friend request! I also, received my Gohonzon and started my practice after very first meeting in Brooklyn, NY on April 12, 1985, my life has been so fullfilled with so many wonderful opportuities, memories and the greatest SGI family, I had the good fortune to practice a year or so in LI, NY; MD/DC area( my children and I had the very best member care in MD, we lived threre first 7 years of our practice), Decatour, GA (one year); NJ (our home state) & now Texas where I retired! It is indeed the best choice I could have ever made for my self and children whom are all grown up now. The happiness one gains from chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo is the greatest joy.

Hi, Marcia..chanting Nam myoho renge kyo is the greatest joy of all, it's power is as vast as the universe, it can change all suffering into happiness and misfortune into great good fortune. Buddhism teaches that there is nothing outside that are not from within, the moment when we begin to chant everything start to move towards the direction of our happiness. To a person with Strong FAITH there is no bad Karma.. everything that happen is a Benefit. Let's Strive with the Spirit of our Mentor for a total VICTORY in our lives and for Kosen rufu....with best regards to you and family..cheers to our forever Sensei and always be HAPPY!! Thank you.

Actually, the water thats mentions in the chart comes with the raw food poster..I do not promote that water. I believe the raw food chart is referring to the Kangen water. I promote the Amway water filter which is also on my site.
