Have a great day.

It's wonderful to hear from you. I've been in Arizona for almost seven years. I came here from the Bay Area. I lived in San Francisco for the last 6 years. California just feels like home and I chant to return there when the time is right. xoxo Crystal
I truly understand the importance of chanting, but I also believe that there is more to this practice...it ALL counts, as I believe. So, I try to live as compassionately as possible, study, chant, have strong faith and be as bodhhisattva like as I can be.
I have tried the hours, upon hours of chanting and I get restless, my mind wanders and I just always feel the need to be doing something productive. I'm not ADD, just pro-active.
Then are days, when physically and emotionally, I just can't do it.
Long answer to a short question,
Gayla
Thank you so much for choosing me to be your friend. California is "home" to me and I'm sure we'll have fun communicating with each other.
Crystal
Thanks for the add...and the "juice" is exactly what you think it is...vino. We were celebrating my daughters b-day and having a great time.
So, I would love to know more about your solo days. I have been at it for about 2 years now and still not used to it. It is very difficult and perplexing. I always thought that others were reading the same gosho as I was, but that doesn't seem to be the case around here.
In '06 I lost my sponsor, then shortly there after, I decided to request a change in districts, due to continued quarrels amounfgthe leaders in my district, then I was continually discouraged in my new district, whenever I would volunteer to do even the simplest of tasks...like call other members to check on them. I was a WD leader in my former dist, but in the new dist, they won't even consider/talk to me about a position.
No matter, I keep forging ahead and doing things to stay connected, like joining this site, taking care of all of my shakabuku, have meetings at my place, study w/ others and myself and keep chanting that this situation will open and change will appear in this area.
Thanks for listening,
Gayla
