So, for 3 weeks now, I have been chanting. Many websites say to chant Namu Myoho Renge Kyo for at least 5 to 10 minutes each morning and each evening. I am now doing 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening.
The hardest thing for me, is concentration. I have always had trouble focusing. However, it is getting easier to do with time. It's amazing. When I wake up in the morning, (I admit to not being much of a morning person.) I chant. Usually, I am a bit grumpy. But,…Continue

How did I get here, you wonder? Well, let me start from the beginning. It's been a heck of a year really. 3 years ago, I met a wonderful man from Memphis Tennessee. We met online. My father means a lot to me really. Though my mom and dad have been divorced for most of my 40 years, we talk a lot. He lives in Billings, MT. Which is about 10 hours from my hometown. I love him very much.
Your experience is very touching. I can feel your parents love for 45 yrs to continue to practice for the sake of their precious daughter. As a parent to want our children to be happy no matter what struggles you go through.
