About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):: I'm half-Japanese, half-Caucasian fortune baby and also military brat and veteran. I also was active in YWD as Kotekitai and designated MC (lol) and still YWD at heart even though I'm 37 and no longer single. I have lived in Japan, CA, HI, UT and have been stationed at Fort Rucker, Fort Hood and Germany in my military career. I was also deployed to Afghanistan in 05-06 and I believe due to my practice and my mom's daimoku (with props to Utah members as well) there were no accidents or deaths in my unit. Thinking about it now, I had a little shelf above my bed (in a B-hut, small rooms with half walls mind you) where I could place my omamori Gohonzon. I had to whisper gongyo and daimoku since everyone in my hut had different work schedules. I'm recently out of the Army and married to love of my life who is currently serving in the Army. We live in Germany and are PCS'ing next summer to Hawaii. My husband is new to this practice and it would help him to meet fellow soldiers who are also members as well.

In 69 our general meetings were in Dusseldorf (birthplace of SGI in Gy. I believe). The autobahn was pretty clear in those days though Zooom.
