I first encountered Nam-myoho-renge-kyo back in the late 1960's, but then embarked on an enquiry into other Buddhist traditions.
I returned in 1994 to try in earnest the only form of Buddhism that could truly transform my life. Finally receiving my Gohonzon in 1995.
I wondered what people meant when they said on receiving Gohonzon: "welcome to your new life". Now I know, and with a debt of gratitude beyond words to my good friend who first sowed the seed so many years before.

Colin you are an absolute star. Thanks to you I was able to have one of the best weekends of my life, putting me in touch with Ashley helped towards me going to 4 meetings that weekend. And of course actually meeting you, even though very brief, was a real treasure. There is nothing like seeing someone in action at a discussion meeting - I feel honored to have experienced listening to your experience. I do so hope to meet you again. Again thank you for your help and please let me know if I can return the favor in any way one day,
You are a great man
