A CHANGE IN MY ATTITUDE MAKES LIFE NOT ONLY BAREABLE BUT JOYFUL.

Hello, I haven't written in a while. I am struggling with more health karma, but, I am doing this with a more positive attitude.  This has made a hugh difference, in my attitude and being able to take it on the chin so to speak. I still have everything, the Osteoarthritis,  Lumbar spinal stenosis, Fibromyalgia, Asthma, Cataracts Diabetes.  And Many surgeries later, Something changes have been made.  My Asthma is in remission. I don't even have to use my inhalers.  And, Bi-Polar was completely removed from my medical records.  I can walk longer even up hill now. I still hurt at night due to my back pain. But, I am not suffering so  much from all the former pain. It is still there most of it. But, I am not allowing it to rob me of life and joy. Because of my attitude and feeling of joy in my life.  My diet has changed so rapidly.  I am Vegan and a lot of raw foods now.  Thank you Nichiren and Sensei, and my deceased parents and loving husband, and Kasemsee Veerandeech (whom shakabukued be )  Many years ago. Now Deceased, 2 years after she introduced me to this great practice.   It really pays to feel Gratitude and joy, no matter what challenges and obstacles you are facing.  I vow and pray each prayer to be positive and think positively and never let life's challenges discourage me in the least......

Dear Jai, chant hard and never let your mind wonder ( if you can help it) while chanting. Go to as many meetings and diamoku's as you can.  This will keep you encouraged daily. Don't forget to study the Gosho's and lectures of Buddhism.  But most of all fight hard to stay and chant to live and actively practicing POSTIVELY.... It is sometimes a 24 hour thing.  Remember you have the right to be happy.  As Nichiren said even living one more day.....In other words  One days life of chanting will bring unequaled benefits. Or Changing your Karma is hard, but, it should be joyous as well.

I know you wrote this a while ago, but I just wanted to say WOW! I admire your ability to keep moving forward after facing so much. I have been unemployed for the last year and it has truly taken a toll on me and my self-esteem. Reading your message let me know that I must keep moving forward no matter what and to never be defeated. Thank you.
