The 21 November World Tribune 'Seize the Day' pullout includes an article by Young Men's Leader Nathan Gauer entitled 'A Revolutionary of Hope' under the banner Soka Justice.

He referenced Nichiren Shoshu Monthly, a magazine published by Nichiren Shoshu Temple. An article that denigrates SGI President Ikeda, claiming that he has deceived the Soka Gakkai members by encouraging them to make causes that are counter to True Buddhism. The 'bad causes' are apparently not specified by the NST article. They say that [President] Ikeda is the guru of a heretical organization. Such egregious charges are indicative of a go-for-broke opposition to a lay organization that has grown to millions of members in countries worldwide under the leadership of President Ikeda.

For over ten years SGI has been battling this third powerful enemy. Nevertheless, the temple is thriving. We have lots of Soka Spirit tosos that are well publicized but not much other observable action. Although the result appears limited, it is probably wise to recall that an avowed opponent of Nichiren, Ryokan, high priest of the Nembutsu sect, remained powerful, even though Nichiren repeatedly demonstrated that he was wrong. It might be that NST will be with us for an indefinite period of time, but Nichiren advised that the three powerful enemies would emerge. It remains for SGI members to fight this enemy in any way possible.

We need a high level action plan and frequent communication of actions and results - not low key but the the world to see!

What exactly are we "fighting"?

In my learning and experience of human revolution, the battle lies within.
