I've been a practicing member since 1987. I started my practice in Boston. I was shakabukued by my cousins in LA. Two of my sisters and one brother received gohonzon in 1988 and another received in 2008. I have two kids, now young adults and they both have received gohonzon. One practices in Houston and the other is in Chicago. We have had tremendous fortune in our lives and fight to truly transform our family karma. Fighting for kosen Rufu in Chicago is a wonderful opportunity, I joined the Chicago community in 1990. I recognized Dan from his volunteer work on toban desk at the kaikan in Chicago. This year, I am transitioning from my consulting business, an executive search firm to my passion, indiefilmz.com. It's quite a shift and the transition feels a bit bumpy but I am so excited to use my passion to fight for Kosen Rufu. I will try and keep everyone updated on my efforts. I also co-founded a non profit called The Institute for Inclusion. It's a way to employ and understand Buddhist principles in a business context. It has been very successful.
