It was simply amazing..

Fncc was simply amazing!

All of the obstacles that I faced was so very worth it and made it even more special. But from what I understand every single woman who attended also was faced with very difficult obstacles as well so the feeling was everyone was so over joyed to be there. I met some amazing women and I have so many new Myohosisters!!

I must have cried from the moment I arrived until half way home on Monday.

I didn't know what to expect at FNCC and honestly even… Continue

FNCC count down!

Posted on October 5, 2009 at 6:56am 5 Comments

On to FNCC.. obstacles is an understatement. First my friend and I where trying to get a good price on the airline tickets so we where holding off thinking the price would drop.. it didn't. Money is tight.. even more so when it seemed EVERY thing landed in my family's lap (son texting to the tune of $ 300+, car broke down yada yada), I really thought I would need to cancel, as I now had no way to pay for my ticket. To top it off I became super sick..

What does one do? She chants that's… Continue

Determination

I have had SO much poison turn into medicine this past year or so. I have had SO many benefits. One is that I will be able to attend FNCC this October. I have been wanting to go for the 6 years I have been a member and ALWAYS something has come up or something else has need my attention or money.

This year I made a determination and sent in the application. So what is you may wonder that I am whining about? Well... the closer it gets the more difficult it becomes. Not normal obstacles,… Continue

Hi Jeannette,
Thank you for joining Guidance Today. May your heart and spirits be uplifted through the encouragements of President Ikeda's words. Have a good weekend.

Hi Jeannette,

The Value Of A Smile
by Author Unknown

A smile cost nothing, but gives much.

It enriches those who receive,
without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment,
but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it,
and none is so poor but that he can be made rich by it.

A smile creates happiness in the home,
fosters good will in business,
and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary,
cheer to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad,
and is nature's best antidote for trouble.

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something that is of no value to anyone
until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile.
Give them one of yours,
as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

Keep on Smiling
