Proud Nichiren Buddhist, Mother and Devoted wife to a Nichiren Buddhist. I am a co-director for a grass roots non-profit called The Dandelion Project where we produce films for positive change!!! I am also an Eastern Medicine Practitioner and Midwife Assistant (soon to be midwife) I am from Seattle, WA and will soon be returning to Thailand where my husband and I are building an eco-healing center!
At 35 I have studied many religions and philosophies, I have seen beauty and magic in all of them. As a practitioner of Eastern Medicine an Spiritual Healing, I also feel the deep connection to my practice as a Nichiren Buddhist (SGI).
When I chant "Nam Myho Renge Kyo" I feel empowered, charged and enlightened in my heart, and very being...
When I first started chanting to my Gohonzon, I didn't see the Buddha in the mirror, I was quite frail, with a distorted image of self and spirit. The other day I walked by the mirror and winked at the recognition that my continued practice has polished that mirror so that I can see my true soul's purpose and Buddha nature.
Through death and rebirth, violence and natural disasters, I have continued to have faith and conviction in the power of humanity and my buddha nature. I love my SGI community and hope that this blog can be a sacred space, and sharing space for like Buddhists. I am Buddhalicious!
WoW i am so very interested in Thailand!! I also invision a Myoho Manor a geratic community of members living communially!! Please send me alink to your project! When I tried to go there from this page it did not work thank you firstname.lastname@example.org
