Why do you desire to join SGIBuddhism.org? Pls answer fully. DO NOT leave blank
I love and appreciate the SGI community as 1) an indivisible essential of the 3 Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), 2) as a proof of the Truth and prime value of the Lotus Sutra & the effectiveness of Nichiren's teaching, 3) as a constant source of inspiration & moral support, 4) support for better understanding, determination, practice, faith serene bliss and, last but not least, 5) opportunities for supporting universal Kosen-rufu. I love the friendly, loving, compassionate, family-like nature of the SGI community. As I told GD Danny Nagashima, this feels like having found my home after a very long search. I want to maximize my participation and enjoyment of life and of the SGI Sangha by developing more Dharma friendships for maximum realization, learning, communication, group activities, etc.
What are your expectations from joining this site?
More SGI Buddhist friends, more understanding & joy; enhancing opportunities for strong practice & Kosen-rufu; victory & support of SGI dharma activities, Soka education programs, etc. I would also like to travel and work in other parts of the world. Having SGI friends around the world will be wonderful. I would also like to remarry with a strong partner for Nichiren Buddha Dharma practice, serene joy and mutual victory. Being a member of the SGI Community social network definitely helps!
In answer to your question, I'm a very private person, and probably should not even be on social media. The only reason I'm here is because I thought it was very private (relatively speaking) and one of the administrators, who is my friend, encouraged me to join this during startup. I didn't understand the possible implications of being on social media at that point. I like to keep a low profile, and I just don't feel comfortable putting my business in the street. However, I must say I have enjoyed viewing the various posts, and occasionally putting in my 2 cents. (Like now.) I'm an older person, and I prefer meeting people face to face instead of online. So call me paranoid.
