I remember turning 30...I was at the ballpark with this friend.  I was watching the age of 'veteran' baseball players and the so-called has-beens on the scoreboard...almost all nearly my age.  Made me feel a bit melancholy.  Went through a tough mid-life crisis last year.  Got my head out of my ass once I 'accepted' some basic truths near end of the year.  Just have to learn now to take things sooo personally.  Figured out also why I have no tolerance or patience for people who mistake my intentions.  Took care of my somewhat 'psychotic' dad for 11 years, putting up with his distrust & paranoia for 6 very frustrating years, before I could convince him to get in front of the right doctors & right medicines for him.  woosh....

my new found advise ....

when depressed over a big obstacle or dissareement in a love relationship / marriage , it is best to take time out alone to ...pamper yourself :)  chant and chant some more ..but ...definately time out to pamper yourself is very healling :)

go to your favorite restaurant, or get a pedicure, or body massage ...something that will make you happy will let you come back to the discussion ..refreshed and more empowered ....

Was at the bookstore this evening, fella who wrote Men Are From Mars & Women Are from Venus, new book about men & women and how it's all about hormones and how they affect our relationships.  Check it out.   Sorry, didn't bother to memorize the title.  ;-D

Believe in your heart that
something wonderful is about to happen.
Love your life.
Believe in your own powers,
and your own potential,
and in your own innate goodness.
Wake every morning
with the awe of just being alive.
Discover each day the magnificent,
awesome beauty in the world.
Explore and embrace life in yourself
and in everyone you see each day.
Reach within to find your own specialness.
Amaze yourself and rouse those around you
to the potential of each new day.
Don't be afraid to admit
that you are less than perfect;
this is the essence of your humanity.
Let those who love you help you.
Trust enough to be able to take.
Look with hope to the horizon of today,
for today is all we truly have.
Live this day well.
Let a little sun out as well as in.
Create your own rainbows.
Be open to all your possibilities;
all possibilities and Miracles.

Always believe in Miracles.
