About Me (tell us a little bit about yourself):
Always chanting and studying more, and more... to overcome obstacles, to face adversity, and to be able to develop the true potential inherent in my life so that I can transmit the truth to other human beings... to make this a peaceful world. I have faced lots of adversities and difficulties, although so far I have been able to overcome those functions and make my life and practice stronger than before. Some times I am weak, some times I doubt, but I never give up, I keep chanting and praying, and then faith grows.

Received Gojonzon in December, 2004.

The ancient Masters were profound and subtle.

Their wisdom was unfathomable.

There is no way to describe it;

all we can describe is their appearance.

They were careful

as someone crossing an iced-over stream.

Alert as a warrior in enemy territory.

Courteous as a guest.

Fluid as melting ice.

Shapable as a block of wood.

Receptive as a valley.

Clear as a glass of water.

Do you have the patience to wait

till your mud… Continue

Dear DKD,

It was so thoughtful of you to think of me during my time of sadness. Your kind words of condolence and prayers are of great comfort to me as I grieve my Mother's death.

Warm regards,

Thank you for your comment. Everyone has a mission and only he or she can fulfill. Maybe posting Sensei's guidance and encouragement is part of my mission. In truth it is never easy and at times I seem to run out of free time. I do think of many SGI members are in need of daily Sensei's encouragement and I have to take my lunch time or whatever free time I have during the day to do the posting. To be honest it is fun most of the time but sometimes it could be stressful when there's a busy workload all day.

Have a great day. In appreciation. Muchas gracias amigo.

The Value Of A Smile
by Author Unknown

A smile cost nothing, but gives much.

It enriches those who receive,
without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment,
but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it,
and none is so poor but that he can be made rich by it.

A smile creates happiness in the home,
fosters good will in business,
and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary,
cheer to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad,
and is nature's best antidote for trouble.

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something that is of no value to anyone
until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile.
Give them one of yours,
as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
